Who we are

This is a brochure site. You cannot create an account here, leave a comment, or upload anything, and we do not ask you to.

What we collect when you browse

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages people read and which ones lead to a booking. It records the pages you view, the approximate region you are in, and the kind of browser and device you use. It also records when you click a link through to our booking system, including which page you clicked it from and the wording of the button.

We ask Google to shorten your IP address before storing it, so we do not hold your full address.

Advertising and audiences

We have Google Signals and ad personalization turned on. If you are signed in to a Google account and have Ads Personalization enabled on that account, Google may associate your visit here with that account. This lets us see aggregated information such as the general age range and interests of our visitors, and it lets us group visitors into audiences, for example people who read our club fitting page.

We are not running advertising today. We have turned this on so that those audiences build up a history, because they cannot be created retroactively. If we do advertise later, these audiences are what we would use to decide who sees it.

You can switch this off for every site you visit, not just ours, at myadcenter.google.com. You can see and delete what Google has recorded at myactivity.google.com.

Cookies

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics ones, named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code. They tell Google Analytics whether you are a returning visitor. They last up to two years and you can delete them in your browser at any time.

We set no cookies of our own, and there is nothing here to log in to.

Some pages show a video from our YouTube channel. Nothing from YouTube loads until you press play. The video then plays from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to it.

The contact form

If you fill in the form on our contact page we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service you asked about, and your message. It is emailed to us so we can reply. We keep those emails as ordinary business correspondence.

The form is delivered by Resend, an email service. We do not add you to a mailing list because you used it.

Booking

Every booking link on this site takes you to uSchedule, which runs our scheduling and takes payment. Anything you enter there is covered by uSchedule’s own privacy policy, not this one. We add tags to those links so we can tell which page on our site sent you.

Who we share your data with

Google, for analytics and the audiences described above. Resend, for delivering contact form emails. Vercel, which hosts this site and keeps standard server logs. uSchedule, once you follow a booking link. YouTube, once you press play on a video. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Emails from the contact form we keep until they are no longer useful.

Your choices

You can block analytics entirely with Google’s opt-out browser add-on, with a browser that blocks trackers, or with an ad blocker. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.

You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Call (205) 593-4543 or use the contact form and we will deal with it.

Children

Our junior programs are booked by parents and guardians. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
